Originally from McCall, Idaho, Keif came to Montana to pursue his undergraduate degree in Wildlife Biology, earning his B.S. from the University of Montana in 2005. He went on to earn his J.D. from the University of Montana School of Law in 2013, where he served as President of the Environmental Law Group and was a member of the Environmental Moot Court team.
Following law school, Keif served as a Law Clerk and Special Master for the Honorable Kurt Krueger of the Second Judicial District Court in Butte-Silver Bow County.
